I love bright colors and deep saturated shades in newborn photography. But even more, than the color, I love neutral and monochrome captures.

And neutral and monochrome newborn photography props, of course. That’s boring – you’ll think, but nothing of the kind, I’ll tell you.
Neutral organic props are awesome, complicated and original. It’s not only white or beige. It’s all shades of white – whitey, cream, vanilla cream, milky, bright white, boiled white, white as a snow, ivory and more. All shades of beige and grey, peach and purple.
80% of my props are neutrals and they are best sellers.
I’m also in love with monochrome captures. They looks awesome and complete.

Vintage photo props admires me. Vintage props like headbands and crocheted layers, old baskets and buckets, bows and boxes made in ivory, cream or deep beige color.
I love neutrals because it fits almost to any newborn baby. Swarthy baby looks darker and prettier, bright skinned babies looks flawless and tender.
Also I love natural light in newborn photography and photo my props with natural light only.
Ivory headbands are always best sellers. Cream wraps sell fast. Newborn photographer prefer neutral headband bases and layers. Because it can be mixed with other shades and colors.
Beginners in newborn shooting are afraid to work with color. Because color is difficult to catch and to photoshop. So they prefer neutrals.

Neutral color is the base.
I start as prop vendor with all shades of white and beige. And I still love it. Headbands and tieback for newborns, newborn’s backdrops, newborn pillows, wraps for moms and newborns, newborn’s bonnets and hats. And, of course, newborn photography props – tiny toys and knitted and sewed animals.
All made with love and big gratitude. Million thanks to you, my newborn photographers and moms. And you? Do you love neutrals or prefer color?
